Stay at Econo Lodge

We stayed for two day. All in all it was not a bad place. The front dest person, was very friendly and helpful. The room was not bad it seemed to be clean except for the carpet. It could of been alot cleaner. The curtain was coming down from the rail. It can be fixed by getting a ladder. But the curtain would not shut right because of it. The only other thing I found wrong, was the tub. It was so slippery as you took a shower I almost fell. They need to put something on the bottom to help the problem. All these things can be fixed easily. It was not a bad place to stay. Just a little fixing up of these things would be nice. Thanks Pat

The 'breakfast' was a bad joke. Toast and pastries. 1 small couch and nowhere else to sit. Not good enough! Most other Econo Lodges I've been in are MUCH better. The room was noisy from the highways and thin walls. Room was large and clean, but the bathroom door wouldn't stay either open or closed. Also, did not feel very safe in the parking lot since it was very concealed. I would not go back. Also, it's not quite as convenient to the downtown area as they would have you to believe.

This motel was easy to get to, the only problem we had was the street noise the highway was right beside us. It might have been better on the other sideof the hotel.

Right on a major highway, heavy truck traffic ALL night long. They advertise a continental breakfast from 6 to 9, went in at 8:30 and the only thing left other than coffee and juice was one slice of bread for the toaster. I asked the front clerk if there was anymore pastries and she said NO. The coffee was VERY good though. The breadfast area was part of the small lobby and had only an old couch for seating. We ended up leaving early and grabbing breakfast at Hardees. The room was very spacious and clean with a large TV but did have to dispose of a cockroach in the bathroom. Walls very thin ... could hear the telephone conversation clearly of the party next door, and the bedroom activites of the young couple upstairs. An OK place if all you need is a place to crash
