My stay was exactly as expected and for a super low package price. The room had plenty of space, beds were very comfortable and we had housekeeping daily.
Though parking can be full, we were never unable to find somewhere to park our rental car.
Very easy to get to the beach and the bus stop (A5 to old town).
We would definitely stay here again!

The coqui inn is just what we expect, not a 5 star vist but well worth the money. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I am going to go back there in november. The location was perfect. one thing though we did have a small kitchen, it did not come with dishes pans etc. but we made do, we only had to buy one pan and used tin foil for the oven. also we
bought paperplates , plastic silverware etc. We just got back on friday march 20th and stayed for 9 days.

Coqui Inn is basically an upscale hostel, so adjust your expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed. Be honest with yourself: if you want a cookie-cutter hotel, spend the extra cash & stay at the Best Western. I feel Coqui's website gave a pretty accurate description, so check it out.
Traveled with a friend; stayed four nights. Room had one single and one double bed, surprisingly large bathroom, A/C unit, cable TV, and a new mini fridge/freezer. The room was nothing fancy, but was clean on arrival and cleaned each day. Bed linens aren't changed daily, but towels are. We asked for extra towels and it was no problem. Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed a can opener and the cleaning staff was able to rummage one up.
Coqui doesn't look like much from the outside (particularly from the main road), but the area is a tourist hotspot and police patrolled. I never felt unsafe, but would recommend locking your door & taking anything important with you.
Biggest negative was the noise level. Our room was right above the lobby and faced out to the street. We could hear everything, especially when a large group was talking, drinking and smoking on the curb at 2AM. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room in the back. When I first arrived, they had to repair a water pipe, so I didn't have water for two hours. I took a nap and it was fixed when I got up. The staff was very apologetic (it could have happened at a fancy hotel too).
Coqui Inn is close to everything: quick walk to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, bus stop, car rental, etc. Overall, great deal for the money & the location made it easy to vacay on a budget.
