You are right in the middle of downtown Newport. You are near the shops, mansions, restaurants, and harbor.
Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this resort is the location. The staff was friendly. They offered a lot of activities. Something for everyone. Most of the activites in the Activity Packet was offered at a discount price for timeshare owners.
Resort Experience:
The Inn on the Harbor was a great place to stay. First of all, it is located right in the middle of the shops in downtown. We had a room that overlooked the harbor. What an incredible view.
We enjoyed a complimentary edition of USA Today each weekday morning and a complimentary edition of the Providence Sunday Journal on Sunday morning.
There is a roof top sundeck open from 9am to sunset. The view of the harbor up there was breathtaking. One afternoon we sat there for a couple of hours, just to relax and read. It was great.
There is a health club on the third floor, but we didn't get to use it. They do have daily passes to the YMCA at the front desk if you wanted access to a swimming pool or weight room.
There is daily housekeeping. They replace your towels every morning and refresh the room if needed.
The room was great. It was clean and comfortable. We had a one bedroom with a partial kitchen and living room. It was just right for two of us.
Unfortunately, you can only exchange to this resort once every four years. I would do it every year, if I could.
