Awesome trip

We went to Vegas April 7 thru 9 and stayed in the Garden Tower, 11th floor. Our room was great - the hotel staff was wonderful and the cleaniness of the hotel was even better. We had read negative reviews before we decided to stay at Harrah's and was pleasantly surprised. We are planning to make another trip and we will definitely stay at Harrah's again. Location was great - was located in middle of strip and was near all the great action. The only negative was we had one meal at the Cafe and was disappointed in our food and especially the service. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience and stay.

Great stay

Hotel premium rooms in the Mardi Gras Tower are very nice. They have a small balcony, (small as in standing room only) but it is nice to open up the doors in the morning and at night to listen to the music. The beds were very comfortable and the room service was there everyday. Had to wait about 1 hour for room to be ready. Very simple to find your way around. The desk person at the Hertz Car Rental was very helpful. We had great service and a great price to rent a van to travel to the Grand Canyon. Ellis Island Restaurant was a great place to eat off the Strip. Would stay at Harrahs again.

Great!

I stayed at Harrah's on a girls' trip to Vegas 4/23-4/26/09. I was sceptical as I had read a few reviews that wasn't so great. However, the stay was very nice!!! We had a great time! The beds are very comfortable, room is clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would definently stay there again!! It's centrally located to everything on the strip. The Venetian's Madame Tussad Wax Museum is next door, Caesar's Palace and Forum Shops are across the street. There are great souvenir stops close by. It was just a wonderful experience and I would do it again. Unless you request, there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room and we were too busy to visit the fitness center or pool area. Be sure and get a massage in the lobby area... Well worth the $20. Take the deuce, it will take you almost everywhere you need to go, including the Premiere Outlet Mall! The only thing that bothered me was walking through the casino and smelling the cigarette smoke, in which I could deal with that to an extent as well, because I ate dinner in the casino and it wasn't too bad. However, the best buffet is the Carnaval buffet at the Rio in which Harrah's provide free shuttle to.

Hotel is located very convient to most other hotels and casinos on the strip. It is not too big and everyone is very helpful. Very clean. Rooms are very nice.

I just got back from Las Vegas 4/19/2009! Not only was our room nice, the staff was great! Pleasant, helpful!!! The only RUDE people were the other people who stayed there! We were never approached by venders like others. The pool was awesome with plenty of lounge chairs for everyone! To those who wrote bad reviews...I'm sorry your experience was bad...mine was fantastic! Would highly recommend!
