The best place to stay all depends on where youre going to spend your time in vegas. Harrahs is located in the middle of the strip for the most part. It seems no matter where you stay (sleep) you never gamble or play etc.. or at least with the groups i travel with. The beds here are as good as any i personally think they are better then Mandalays and the rooms are ultra quiet. Ive been to vegas about 10 times and always either stay here or end up wishing i would of! My favorite thing about this place is the mini bar in EACH room. The prices are VERY reasonable. I cant remember exact prices but they were less then at the bars by far and at 3am or 6am when i usally come in a 2 dollar bottle of good water verses tap is well worth it! Some of the friendliest dealers and workers all around are here at Harrahs this place is A+++ in my book.

My family went to Vegas from May 8 - 11 and stayed at Harrah's. Our room was neat and clean and wasn't too expensive. They were good about allowing a late check-out and most of the staff we encountered were personable and willing to help. Harrah's is located in a good spot on the strip and we were happy with the location.
My only complaint would be the food prices. I felt they were astronomical. Thank goodness Denny's and McDonalds were close by.

First of all customer service on the phone just rings and rings to get a manager
the cafe resturant makes me sit there for 30 min and dont help or come by to even get me anything to drink then went up to them and told them how horrible the service was and they didnt care one bit so tried to order room service and waited for over an hour and they never came so I did not eat anything
they charge for everything the gym which I came for the pool closes so early for the summer un like other hotel stay open later which I will never stay here again for what you have to pay to stay here I could stay at the hilton and get more for my money
don't recommend Harrah's Las Vegas

this hotel puts a * hold on your credit card upon check-in, and is supposed to release it when you check out. We have been home for a week, after numerous phone calls- long distance phone calls- they still have a hold on the card. Pool area is filthy- anyone off the street can wander in and take the elevator up to any floor and wander around. I could go on and on about what a disappointment this hotel was.
