Stayed at Harrahs June 13 to 17, 2009. Pros: The staff was VERY nice. Many casinos made people wait until cards were dealt before could touch them and would be rude about it. One pit boss at Harrahs said "you can touch them as soon as they are dealt." Everyone was so nice there. The room was very clean the bathroom was very clean. The staff was honest and great!! The hotel was centrally located in walking distance of many activities. The layout of the casino was open and there was a warm breaze blowing through which felt very nice and kept smoke away. There is a McDonolds and other food right next door. Cons: The casino is VERY popular with LOTS of people going through. It is the start of the Monorail to other places so it is very busy many times. There is some sort of market place outside the hotel and after about 11AM is VERY VERY busy - so one must travel throught that. And, they do not discourage the "people" from standing near by snapping cards at you trying to get you to buy their product as some of the "up scales" do (Bellogiao, Wynn, Encore, etc.). Like most other places, the table limits are $10+ minimum much of the day - even early when some places are still $5. The steak and egg $5.99 special is over at 6AM - where Bill's just down the street is over at 11AM. There is a $1 dollar hamburger special at Tobi Keiths that starts at 11PM but by then is loud with music. Some people may find these times OK others may not.
Overall, this is a GREAT place to stay. Clean rooms, nice casino, centrally located and lower room price. Try it out!

The hotel was nice but we had to call everyday to have our room clean. We should not had to call to get it clean. So we will be staying at another hotel next year when we go back to Las Vegas in June. I will be planning our next trip in October.

X the lady that intial checked us in on the first day was AWESOME!!! she was very informative and provided us with maps outline, shuttles, and bus info and etc.. She took her time to explain everything and we were able to check in early. we arrive there at 10 and was able to check in immediately and usually check in is at 4.. rooms were nice no complaints an overral service was good. Also the team in toatal rewards were extra nice and friendly as well. What I didn't enjoy, you were not able to get a free drink while your were gambling, no one seem to pay attention, but we brought our own so that wasn't too much of a problem. I do have a complaint about about a lady at front desk we had to call manager on on our 2nd day she was rude and turned her nose up at us and of course management took up for her. I will be sending complaint about her and providing her name. vey nice experience and will stay again walking disrance from everyting.. HAD A BLAST!!!

We enjoyed our stay there, nice room, not fancy but very nice. Casino employees very friendly. However, the last night we stayed there, my wife was ill and I left the room to visit the casino at about 12 midnight. Sometime after I left, someone entered the room. My wife thought it was me and called out my name. The person who entered just said Oh sorry and closed the door. The next morning I shared this with the front desk personnel as we were leaving and they were unconcerned. I am convinced someone saw me leave and was going to go through our room. Be very careful with your items if you stay here.
