4 nights at Caesars

Overall, staying at Caesar's was a satisfying experience, although there were a few bumps in the road. Our first night we were put in a room in the old section of the hotel. This room was obviously dirty with several marks on the ceiling, cracks in the sinks, a clogged shower drain, broken furniture, lamps with faulty wiring that came on by them selves in the middle of the night, and broken appliances. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable. All that kept going through my mind was wondering if I was going to pick up bedbugs in that room. The next morning we went to the front desk and complained about the room condition. The associate at the desk moved us to a suite at no additional charge, and they immediately began to send maintainence people to the room to fix things. Our new room was fabulous - clean, neat, comfortable, and everything...well, almost everything, worked. Caesar's location can not be beat. They are located right in the heart of the strip, and you feel as though you really are in the center of it all. The casino is friendly and actually does let you win some! The people that worked there were a mixed batch. We met some people who were super friendly and helpful, and others whom my impression was that they were not happy to be working there or doing the type of work that they were doing, and this reflected in their demeanor. Also, some employees tried to push that they were a luxury resort...I would classify as a nice hotel. You pay plenty extra for the luxury resort amenities! All in all, a good place, but don't be afraid to speak up and be prepared to spend.

Pool Under Construction!

We have stay at Caesars Palace many many times but this will be the last. The pool was under construction with one closed and no where to even sit on the ground. This new style looks ugly & blocks the view which we enjoyed so much. Way to make more money guys by adding more without thinking about views. Room was extremely noisy with doors opening and shutting all day and night. We got a Non Smoking room but could smell heavy smoke for hours at night, not from us we took showers when we got back to the room, just in case you thought that. Anyway, time to room at other hotels who think about views in the pool area... Many of them there are cheaper then Caesars. Also, Our room only had a bathtub not a Jacuzzi so they do have low class junk rooms there so beware and ask BEFORE getting into the room.

Food was overpriced, Some of the staff was rude,

Our experience with Caesars Palace was not very good. First we had to stand in line for well over an hour to check in. Food was way overpriced for the economy being in such bad shape. Room was missing some of the amenities.Key cards quit working to the room door 2 days in a row......Although Security was very helpful and prompt. I was going to be charged for beverages from the in room wet bar that I didn't use. When I explained this to the person at check out they were very sarcastic and rude. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! This is the worst experience I ever had in the many years I've been going to Vegas.

Caesar's Palace March 26-30 2009

I came to Las Vegas for a conference. My flight arrived at 10:22 am, and got to Caesar's about 11:15. I was allowed to check in early, and received a two category complimentary upgrade! This gave me a room in the Palace Tower complete with a two-person jacuzzi tub, separate shower, two sinks, and a toilet in a separate area with a door. Great view of the Strip, too! The check -in staff was very nice, and gave me complimentary coupons for use in all the Harrah's hotels. The room was fabulous! Would definitely stay again! However, the airport check-in is no longer available, as well as the complimentary shuttle to the Rio. However, you can catch the shuttle at Harrah's or Paris. Don't miss the wrap sandwiches in the Food Court, or breakfast at Payard's where they have the most amazing almond croissants!
