A Bit of Tiny Funk...

  • 4 out of 5 stars by gstar13 from Chicago, Illinois
  • May 19, 2011
Quote: The Hudson Hotel is very funky and modern from the outside and on into the inside. The concrete building with the lime green lighted strip of windows is very cool. When you arrive, you are greeted by very nice looking and polite porters who open... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

Tiny rooms, no drawers for storage, inadequate temperature control, inadequate lighting, extremely noisy lobby and elevators. Good location.

Quote: Our experience at Hudson – A Morgan Original was the worst experience in recent memory – and we travel a lot. The hotel was rated 4 Star and we would have preferred Motel 6. Our room was tiny – indeed all the standard rooms are – measuring only 190... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

Close to everything!

Quote: Well situated in the middle of everything, close to Central Park, Subway, Rockefellar Center... Fun restaurant/Bar.

Great place to stay

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: The hotel was clean and fun but the staff, well, not so great. First, our early check in request was not honored and, in fact, we had to wait several hours for a room to be ready. The front desk staff seemed anoyed with us. Next, when we got to our... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

The service was the best thing about this hotel!

Quote: I had to find a hotel for a quick trip and this hotel fit what I needed as far as location and price. The hotel has an amazing lobby and the staff is very friendly. The only complaint I have with the rooms is that they are small but I was told about... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

Depressing

  • March 27, 2011
Quote: Nice place to go have drinks and hangout and crash if you don't have any other better options but awful hotel for leisure. Hallways and rooms are depressing. The wole hotel is mega dark and the rooms are ridiculously small (even the one I had... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

In the heart of Manahttan

Quote: I loved this hotel! Sure the room was small, but what affordable room in Mahattan isn't? It was decorated so cool that I hardly noticed the size. The bar area and lobby are just beautiful, and the location was perfect, we walked everywhere! This was... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

I heart the Hudson

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 4, 2011
Quote: Walking into the Hudson is like stepping into a nightclub, a very sheik one. The lobby is uniquely designed, the elevator is dark and vibrating with hip music. My room was tiny, not uncommon for Manhattan, with a modern artsy design. All in all the... Read the full Hudson Hotel review

Cool, modern, fun!

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 4, 2011
Quote: Having visited NY ten consecutive years, I have to say this has been one of my favorite hotels; so much that I stayed @ The Hudson the last two years. Yes, the rooms are small, but that, my friends, is New York. Also being a single female traveler,... Read the full Hudson Hotel review
