Great Hotel, horrible Pool!

We were in town for the Braves game and some other local things. (Go see the lazer light show at Stone Mountain! WOW! only $8.00 per car to get in) We had stayed in this hotel before and enjoyed it very much. The location is only about a 15-20 minute drive by car into downtown ATL. There were many, many things to do and places to eat around the hotel, including the mall. The breakfast was ok...convienent (w/o adding it to our room on travel website ($5 each) it would have been $10.50 each...so not worth that much. Our room was nice and clean...the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. There was no refrigerator and that is a necessity! My biggest complaints were crappy pillows (bring your own!), the staff, tho very friendly and eager to help, had completely inaccurate directions on how to get you to the closest MARTA (lite rail) or Turner Field. We got so incredibly lost going by their directions! And finally, the pool was disgusting!!! It was so filthy and cloudy that you couldn't see the stripe on the bottom step of the shallow end! I didn't see one person in the water during our 3 day stay! Overall, very pleasant stay...if they'd get pool cleaned and keep it that way, this would be the perfect place for a family stay!

Everything was great about this hotel except for the continental breakfast. The food was good, but it cost you $8.95. I guess I'm just to free breakfasts.

This hotel was excellent. The staff (all included) was very curteous. I was so impressed that I was compelled to leave a comment card citing one employee in particular. I'll be back!!!

When I go to Atlanta, I would not stay anywhere else, but this hotel. Very nice employees, very clean rooms and great location (mall right down the street). It's also easy to find.....right off the highway. I give this hotel 10 STARS!!!!!
