Wonderful Experience

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff, was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was exactly what we wanted, clean and comfortable. The location was great for accessibility and convenience to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again when we revisit Lake Tahoe.

We really wanted a nice place, clean and well located, that wouldn't break the bank... we found it here for sure! This place is not super fancy or chi-chi, so if you're looking for that, look on the Nevada side (if you can stand the casino-vibe), only one mile away.
Lakeside is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. It's located right on the beach, which is so fabulous. We walked nearly everywhere, which made dinners out a dream. We had a small, full kitchen in our King studio, and really enjoyed our favorite breakfasts and occasional left-overs lunches there or on the balcony.
Had we not wanted to walk everywhere, the hotel offers a complimentary on-demand shuttle that opperates from 8 - midnight every day, so that's nice. Safeway with Starbucks is across the street, and Long's Drugs is next door.
The gym is minimal, a handful of nice machines but no free weights. There is an amazing gym about a 5 min drive away called Push that has day rates and punch cards for those most dedicated to working out. Push also has a spa, and if you get treatments there (which we did) they include a day pass to the gym... a really nice bonus for us!
We loved this place and will certainly go back! Travel website price saved us signigicantly, like 10%, so we'd book through them again, too!
