Needs to improve

The staff tried to treat us well, but the carpet was filthy and the internet did not work in the room, TV picture was poor and lamps needed bigger bulbs. The room was too dark for reading. Made for a long night in the motel, poor TV, No internet, and no reading. Probably will not stay again, although I hate to give poor reviews to people who are working to make things right.

I travel alot for my company and we bring workers in to town we recently stopped at the Southgate Inn talked to the manager about all they offer. She told us since we would be in town working for so long she offered us a nightly rate of $* per room along with a business card where on the back we could get a free night after only staying 9 nights. We went and checked out a few other motels because we were doing remodeling at local business and wanted to get the best deal. We were back with an hour and booked 6 rooms for the next month or more. We will highly recomend for anyone to come and stay here.

Staff was very unhelpful.
Rooms were dirty.
Very old bedding, beds etc.
Planned on staying a week, checked out the next morning. YUK!
Would not recommend to anyone for any reason.

Very clean, but no coffee pot or dryer and alot of street noise. Lost heirloom ring but of course no one could find it,
