Wonderful Stay!

Me and my fiance booked a weekend here, and absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and the room was top quality! They even allowed us to check-in 5 hours early due to the fact that we had come in on an early flight. The presentation of the room and the hotel throughout was very clean, modern, and spacious and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and contained a lot of variety. The only thing that we would change would be the fact that the room was a little bit on the cold side at times, because it seemed that the heating unit in the room only went up to 68 degrees. So although it wasn't freezing, it wasn't exactly as warm as we would have liked. Aside from this, we would definitely come back again and look forward to our next trip out to Madison!

Rooms were clean. Pool was adequate--not spectacular. The main reason we chose this hotel was because we had heard they included a fabulous hot breakfast each morning. In fact, at check in the desk clerk was telling us all about it and how great it was. So you can imagine how disappointed we were to find only a stripped down continental breakfast the next morning--and I mean stripped down. The moring desk worker told me they "didn't get the order in the night before."

This was definitely not a 3-star hotel. It was well worn and stairways were dirty. Security door at side entrance did not lock.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. We had two rooms with 3 people in each room - the price for the rooms, which included the breakfast, was one of the biggest travel bargains we've enjoyed.
