Just Okay

The room was pretty small for a deluxe king size. The bed was comfortable. The wireless internet was slow and blocked the upload of files. Remote control to the TV didn't work. When we complained about it, they finally did get us a different one, but tried to give an excuse to not do it first. This hotel chain dubs itself as an upper end hotel chain, but this particular hotel and room did not live up to what we expect from an upscale hotel. Would probably not stay here again unless the price was really good. For what we paid, it was good, but not Sheraton, Hilton or Marriott good.

we booked the suites at this hotel.the first suite we checked into had a malfunctioning lock on the front door. also the first impression fo the room was a musty odor. fortunately the front desk clerk switched rooms. the air conditioner did not work properly and this room also had a musty odor. the wallpaper was peeling from the walls, and the hotel was located near very noisy rail road tracks. my wife and i never got a good night rest. we will never go to this hotel again, and we are very disapointed with travelocity . we will probubly never ever use your service again.

HORRIBLE

We needed a hotel that will accommodate our bichon. Wehad mixed feeling about all the pet friendly hotels after reading all the reviews. Iwe could not decide which one to use. Therefore we picked the one that was the most expensive in the list thinking that this will guarantee a decent stay. Well when we arrived we checked in the front desk, they clerk told us we had to go around the building in order to use the side entrance for our room. Ok, no problem. As we walked in the room the smell of mold and musty hit us. Then we checked out the sink and the plumbing that were rusted and not clean. The room was very noisy from the air condition and the train. We did not complained since we were there only 2 nites but I will never going to use them again. all the bad reviews from all the other hotels were at this hotel.

Less than we expected

We stayed in a suite across the back parking lot from the main building. I assume that was the reason why the cleaning staff didn't reach our room at all to clean it the first day, and on the second day, they arrived to clean after 5 p.m. and then only after a strong complaint at the front desk. We left a wake-up call that never materialized. Being close to Colonial Williamsburg only means that you can see the wooden laced fence from the parking lot. It isn't really convienient to walk to. There was very adequate space for four people (Two bedrooms and two baths, sitting room and kitchenette).

Hotel great! Service - Lacking

Hotel was great and in a great location! Service: Made initial reservation at front desk over the phone - when called to confirm they could not find it and had to transfer me to their national reservation center Elevator broken down at arrival - was working next morning Witnessed man urinating beside car in parking lot Front desk failed to hand credit card back upon check-in. Security did deliver it to my room. All doors to rooms do not close on their own - saw several other guest's doors open when walking by. Billed credit card used to secure reservation and NOT credit card presented at check-in. Was on hold with front desk over 10 minutes when called back to complain about these problems, had to hang up and call back. I was watching for everything that I could see wrong but would stay here again, but you need to be on your guard.
