Good Inexpensive Overnight Stay on I-70

I just needed a clean comfortable place to crash for the night. I must say I was a bit skeptical before I got there, but I was pleased with this hotel. It did not have fancy woodwork trim, etc, but the bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was clean. I liked that the rooms had inside entry. My wife made the reservation at 11:55 pm on-line, and I checked in 5-10 minutes later with no problems. Thanks, Econo-Lodge.

I made my reservation two hours before we arrived but when we got there, they had no record of it, even with a conformation number. The clerk was very nice, called Choice and got things straightened out. But, I needed a first floor room, partially handicapped, and could not get one. Hotel was over booked. So we had to take a second floor room. So I was basicallly confined to the room for the evening. It was ok, the sheets were mostly clean, but the bathroom was scary. Worn places on toilet seat, peeling wall board, facuets had big holes where the hard water had eaten through. And the shower floor and walls were peeling so bad, we would not even use it. It wasn't very quiet and the staff seemed unconcerned. The bed was like sleeping on a box of marbles. The air conditioner looked fairly new but it was filthy and smelled a little. Glad I carry Lysol spray everywhere I go! Wouldn't recommend this one to anyone but at least we survived!

We were very dissatisfied with the whole experience. The Pool was totally disgusting. It was so green and slimy and I would not let my kids near the pool. The air vent in one room was so dirty that I moved my towels so that it would not fall off on them. The trim was 1/2 off the mirror and the other 1/2 was just hanging there. The second room the toilet was leaking all over in the bathroom. When we went outside there was already a used toilet bowl ring on the sidewalk. This was gross. The floor by the ice machine was sopping wet way down the hall. I would not stay there again.

This motel had blood stains on the walls, the restrooms were not useable. The rooms had been broke ito prior. The motel staff walked in on my girlfriend when they saw me walk out of the room several times. The service was terrible and was unwilling to accomidate at all. The sheets were not clean. The pool had someones fecies in it. This is a very bad motel to stay at.
