Hotel was very nice. We stated twice...two weeks apart. We took someone to the Airport and had to go back to pick them up. Free shuttle to the airport was a huge help and ran often enough so as not to be late. Rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Pool was nice as well. The free breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Make your own waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and toast with toppings. All fresh and tasty and enough to fill everyone up and hold them till lunch. For being right next to the airport it was remarkably quiet and the planes could be heard but not to where we couldn't talk, watch tv or sleep.
The only problem we had was in the communication with the front desk people. They spoke very little English and I speak no Spanish. So getting them to understand what we needed and wanted was difficult. I feel if you work in this country, learn the language!! They should require the help to learn to speak fluent English. That was the only problem we had.
I would recommend this hotel. But it will help if you brush up on your Spanish. In fact that will go a long way in helping you all around town as in many stores the clerks speak no English. I found that problem in a Walgreens and a Bells. So brush up on the Spanish...but still would stay again.
Clean, comfortable, and free shuttle to the port

This hotel was clean and comfortable and offered a great breakfast AND free shuttle service to the port for our family cruise. We had all of our married kids and our 8 grandchildren for a total of 16 and easily fit in the 20 passenger bus from the airport and again to the cruise ship. We reserved the shuttle through the manager ahead of time and it was right on time. Others have complained about smoky rooms but we did not find that. We had 4 rooms and all were fine. The manager, *, was very helpful. The price was fair and we were completely satisfied.
Don't book through Travel online with this location!

I booked 4 months in advanced for 2 "non-smoking" rooms through Travel agency. The location and price were what I was attracted as it is close to the airport and ship terminal for a cruise we were taking. Two people in my party were highly allergic to smoke and guess what rooms were given - 4th floor ash tray locations. Reeked of smoke would be a kind description for them. Asked the front desk if I could change - no chance this is what Travel agency ordered and this is what you get - sorry. I got the impression that hotel management does not like when rooms are ordered through Travel agency management said don't blame us for you misery - blame Travel agency as this is what was ordered. Rooms used digital thermostats to control the air-conditioning units - both rooms did not function. Also, both rooms were either missing lightbulbs or had light fixtures burned out. Will never stay again and would advise you not to either!
Great location from which to catch an early morning flight

We just needed a place to catch some sleep before a 0400 wake up to catch a 0555 flight. Great location close to rental car returns. Staff helped with printing boarding passes. Could walk next door to Bennigan's for dinner. Pool wasn't heated, but no time to use it.
Good Hotel for being by the airport

This was a very standard hotel that was very close to the airport. It was only about 3 blocks from most of the car rental agencies, so returning our car was super easy. It did have airplanes flying directly overhead so if you're a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. There is a Bennigan's right in front, so convenient for dinner. But getting to the hotel is extraordinarily difficult only made worse by the road construction going on in front. We went early in the morning to see if our room was ready yet by chance and the lobby was a zoo. We were thinking, "uh oh", but when we returned that evening, everything went very smoothly. The carpets in the room are in bad need of a deep cleaning (our kids' feet were black), but other than that, everything seemed very clean. They don't allow stoppers for the tub, so if you're planning on a bath, you'll have to stuff a washcloth down the drain.
