Best Things Nearby:
Colonial Williamsburg was very close. There were many things to see and do in Williamsburg.

Best Things About the Resort:
We had two, two-bedroom units side by side for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had many things to do on site to keep us busy. The security made us feel very safe and the staff was extremely helpful.

Resort Experience:
This resort was beautiful! We had everything we could need. We missed out on quite a few things in the area because our vacation was from Sunday - Sunday and on Thursday, Hurricane Isabel hit and left us without power. We did enjoy having some outdoor activities to take part in during the daylight and we were also thankful to have the grills so that we could eat a hot meal.

Busch Gardens, Water Country, Jamestown, Williamsburg.

Best Things About the Resort:
Spacious unit, clean, beautifully decorated.

Resort Experience:
Our unit was on the top floor two-bedroom two-bath unit. Nice size kitchen with all new working appliances, dining area nice size for six people, guest bathroom with steam shower and connecting door to the guest bedroom. Nice size living room with a balcony overlooking golf course and a gas fireplace. Large master bedroom with a master bath with a jacuzzi, double sink and shower stall. Staff is very nice. There is a pool and a snack bar for drinks and hot dogs, etc. Movie rentals on-site, ping pong, pool towels, and you can purchase floats and toys for the pool. They will call you for a sales presentation, however, the request is NOT annoying. This was a beautiful resort and if I was looking to purchase a week, I would buy at this resort.

Best Things Nearby:
Prime Outlets with many brand names.

Colonial Williamsburg, the Yorktown Visitor's Center, the Yorktown Victory Center, and the Jamestown Settlement, situated along the James River.

There is a Super Target, as well as a supermarket, fairly close to the resort.

The Berkeley Plantation, Virginia's oldest plantation -- built in 1726. This is just 1/4 mile from where the first Thanksgiving was held in December 1619, on the shore of the James River.

Best Things About the Resort:
It was a beautifully appointed, fully equipped timeshare! It was spacious, and really had a "grand" feeling to it. We felt fortunate to have a first floor unit, too.

We loved the master bedroom and bathroom. The Jacuzzi was perfect, after doing a lot of walking during the day. . .

It was nice having a television set in the master bedroom, as well as the living room.

We liked the entire unit floor plan very much. We liked the deck off the back, looking out on tall trees and woodlands. There was a table and four chairs on the deck, too.

The second bedroom and bathroom were fine, too. And it's always nice when there's a washer and dryer! Here, those were enclosed behind a door. . .hidden, which made it nice! Detergent was provided for laundry, as well as at the kitchen sink and for the dishwasher. The kitchen was very well supplied.

Also, it took two doors to get into the unit. The outer one was an entrance to two units, and then each of those units had its own door. The entranceway was also well lighted.

The living room and dining room were just wonderful! There was a VCR, too, which we really appreciated. We were glad we could tape our favorite soap opera, and watch it when we wanted to.

Resort Experience:
Greensprings Plantation was just the greatest! We felt fortunate to get a discount on tickets in the Activities Center to Colonial Williamsburg, and we also made reservations here for the "Haunts & History" Candlelight Tour.

We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool several times, it was one of the BEST pools we'd ever seen! Nice to have a "falls" at the head of it! That adds a special touch! Everyone was having a great time!

Walking to and from the pool was nice, too. Just the right distance for a walk!

The weight room was another thing that was appreciated. In fact, this was the first time I've ever spent any time getting acquainted with "weights"! And I'm sure glad I did!

There was not computer use available at the resort. It is available at Greenspring's sister resort, Powhatan, just a couple of miles away. You are supposed to have your ID card from Greensprings when you go there.

The resort does not host any activities or socials, other than the complimentary breakfast one morning--which is delicious--the "catch" is, you're required to listen to what amounts to a sales talk. It took quite a bit of our time, but it was rather enjoyable --and we felt that we learned something that day!

Beautiful setting among the trees, nice pool area. Family-oriented activies.

Best Things About the Resort:
It was a newly constructed, very large unit, beautifully decorated.

Resort Experience:
This would be a great family destination. The resort is set among the trees and it's easy to walk to the pool area. There is also a small children's pool. All the units are beautifully decorated. The landscaping is still in progress.

Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens.

Best Things About the Resort:
Clean (it's new) and spacious. Washer/dryer in unit.

Resort Experience:
Sunterra's Greensprings Plantation is their newest offering in Williamsburg. Resort activities are somewhat limited. It is also a little far away from most Williamsburg area attractions. Units are built four high, so you will most likely have to climb steps to get in (no elevator), unless you're the lucky one to get a ground floor unit.
