Awesome views of river and cityscape

Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, location was convenient. The views from our rooms were awesome. The pool and workout rooms were nice. Would have liked to have had a hot tub - but the sauna was good.
All in all good value for the trip.

I love the Holiday Inn at the Mart. Great Loby bar and friendly people. I stay here once or twice a year and have never had a bad experience. As a seasoned traveler I find that you are treated as you treat others. I always book on line, and rarely with the Holiday Inn web site. I have had several upgrades when rooms are available by simply asking for them. I will continue to be a customer here.

We enjoyed the hotel and found everything that we needed to be within walking distance. The hotel bar has a great view and we found the staff to be wonderful. The only downside of the hotel was the pricing on the breakfast. The buffet was nothing special and it was 20 dollars and menu was similarly priced lunch and diner looked more in line.

It was my first time in Chicago and we loved this hotel, the concierge and all staff were very helpful at all times, with a smile and nice attitude. Which for me is the most important thing in a hotel after cleaness and comfort. We loved the Sky bar and their food, specially the ceviche!
The hotel room was clean, comfortable and the pillow menu a plus! Riverwalk within steps and everything else in the city. Ah! The restaurant recommendations from the hotel, you got to visit Carnivale Rest. great place, geat food! Definitely would stay here again, the price was ecxellent for the location everything around (hotels) it was double the price.

When we were originally booking our trip, we thought the price was too good to be true! Stay downtown at a Holiday Inn for so little? We did some checking and were concerned about some of the reviews we read, especially about the rooms. We decided to pay extra for the guaranteed king bed w/ non-smoking, and were very happy with our stay.
