I must say that the Mel's is not a great burger joint eating place. I've eaten at Mel's in San... Read the full Sands Regency Hotel and Casino review

Quote: we stayed to escape a snow storm on Tahoe and had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was right at the hotel. Food was well cooked, drinks were large and casino paid well on the penny machines. What more could you ask for!

I was pleasantly surprised at the value received. I selected it on the basis of cost and location but was pleasantly surprised.

Quote: I picked the hotel on the basis of location and cost, but found it to be an excellent choice in any case, with good value for my money. The dinner is delightful for breakfast, and the room was large and comfortable, with a view of downtown Reno. And... Read the full Sands Regency Hotel and Casino review

Prices at the 4-star hotels were over $300 a night, but the trusty Sands came in at $99. It's a simple hotel. Nothing fancy. A few places to... Read the full Sands Regency Hotel and Casino review

Quote: We stayed in this hotel 2 years in a row for our bowling trip to Reno, NV. It's location is perfect! It is within walking distance of the USBC Bowling Stadium and other activites but yet far enough away from all of the hustle and bustle if we wanted... Quote: Happily the room was ready in a timely fashion and the front desk agents were helpful. As this was my second stay at this hotel, I knew what to expect.
