Great place to stay in a pinch

While staying with friends in Hawaii over New Year's Eve, the owner of the house got sick and we had to book a hotel -- the day before New Year's Eve. It wasn't bad in an emergency (when the alternative was to go home!) but the location isn't great if you, like us, plan to spend every day and night in Waikiki. The rooms were much bigger than you would get for twice as much per night in Waikiki. The staff was nice, taxis were quick to respond since it is right next to the airport. Other than location, the biggest problem is that you can't get anything to eat after 11, since the restaurant and room service are closed and there are no restaurants or stores nearby. Staying there wasn't bad, but we wouldn't stay there again unless we had an overnight layover in Honolulu.

--if you need to be close to the airport. We needed a hotel for one night and called this one last minute from the airport. Hotel shuttle picked us up promptly and check-in was quick. It was a bit of a maze to get to our room, but we figured it out! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and the air conditioning worked GREAT. The room size was good and the bathroom was huge (it was clean too). The room rate was very good for the price. Very nice stay.

My family and I stayed here for a day. We had a late flight out to the mainland. This is a budget hotel but worth it. We met families staying here because of the price. The hotel is convient to all attractions. The pool was great and the rooms all have new carpeting. The resaturant on site was good. The rooms also have a refrigerator and microwave. I would recommend for those a budget since Oahu can be very expensive and those who need a place before a late fight out.

I had to stay at this MOTEL for too long.... This place was shabby and rundown... would not allow my pet to stay in this facilty... The wallpaper was rolling up off the walls, carpet was gross and needed to be replaced. My view was the parking lot and the bathroom needed to be gutted. pityful pityful!!! Do not advised anyone to stay for even a day!!!!! Location is adjacent to the highway and paying $12 for parking is crazy!!!! Over priced and ridiculous!!! You would be better off to stay in a different hotel.

This Hotel is extremely run down. In addition to everything looking scarily worn and tattered.. It is extremely dirty.. It is so far overpriced for its condition. I would most definately not reccommend this hotel to anyone.
