We traveled to Las Vegas for the first time. We wanted to try a few different hotels and chose the Renaissance as one. We were so pleased with the entire experience there. We hated to check out the next day and move on. The price was great. The hotel was peaceful. The environment was fresh and clean and the staff was professional and very welcoming. We would stay again no questions asked. We had room service which was delivered in a very timely manner and the food was great. Thank you Renaissance for helping to make our trip a great one!

I recently took a vacation to Vegas, and stayed at the Renaissance Hotel. I wanted to stay at a hotel that was near the strip, but not exactly on the strip, which is why I chose to stay there. I had an amazing time. From the moment I walked in, I received nothing but excellent service. My favorite part about their hotel were the beds! They were so comfortable, and then I found out that their mattresses are postuerpedic mattresses. While there, I dined at their ENVY The Steakhouse, and it was delicious. I had the Prime New York strip, and it was so juicy and so tender. I really enjoyed myself, and hope to return there soon!

My boyfriend and I went to the Renaissance Hotel in August 2008. The hotel is not walking distance to the strip, but it is close to a monorail stop (it's across the street at the Convention Center). I recommend taking a cab which is about $12-$15 to the strip or Freemont St. because you still end up walking A LOT with the monorail. The hotel is nice and quiet (probably because it doesn't have a casino). The pool was fine but it's probably not ideal for sunbathing since it is located in the center of the hotel and is sometime in the shade. Anyway, this is a perfect place to go to get away from the Las Vegas lights and sounds.

I stayed at the hotel this past Labor Day, and the hotel is clean, the rooms are wonderful also. Close to the strip, and has a good restaurant. I would stay there again.

I had to talk to front desk about coffee mugs that were used and simply wiped out with a towel and then put back on coffee service tray as clean. (There is a Starbuck's downstairs in the hotel so if you really want that morning cup of joe head downstairs.) Hotel's internet description says rooms have a refrigerator. When my food was spoiled and I called to have someone check my refrigerator I was told that it wasn't really a refrigerator, it is a "cooler." The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a separate tub and shower.
