Front desk friendly and received our room before check in time. Hotel experience was above standard. Elevators under repair wait time alittle long but not to bad. Hotel very clean.

The Mirage is a fine place to stay. It's located about in the center of the strip, so it was easy to walk (or take the monorail or bus) north and south from the Mirage to see the rest of the hotels on the strip. We really liked the buffet restaurant Cravings -- tremendous variety, good quality, reasonable (for Las Vegas) prices. We found a blackjack dealer who was willing to help us learn to play. The Cirque du Soleil show "Love" is breathtaking. Don't miss the fountains choreographed to music in front of Bellagio, or the Mac King comedy/magic show.

5-night stay at Mirage

My husband and I recently came back from our 1st trip to Vegas, and 1st vacation in 23 years! We wanted to do it up right, so I booked our stay at the Mirage. Everyone was super-friendly and helpful from start to finish. We even had a free room upgrade just for the asking at check-in. All of the staff were great! The only thing I would say is that the restaurants and room service were a little higher-priced than some of the other casino-hotels, however, the food was excellent, and the Cravings Buffet was some of the best food we have ever eaten! Just one disappointment....I accidentally left our new camera on the bed when we left in a rush to make it out before checkout. We had bought it, along with a new memory card just for this once-in-a-lifetime trip. We took a little over 400 pics while there-also went to the grand canyon, Hoover Dam, and many places along the strip. When we returned home and realized what had happened, we called Mirage many times in an effort to get our camera back. But it was nowhere to be found. We were VERY devastated! I have to believe maybe we were unlucky enough to get a dishonest housekeeper. We are still hoping it might turn up. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and are already planning for next year's!

Fabulous rooms

We have stayed at the Mirage in the past; however, this is our first stay since they have remodeled the rooms. The rooms are wonderful - very updated, flat screen on the wall, granite, etc, very comfortable beds. The room service and quality of the food was great. The atmosphere at the entire resort is really wonderful and definitely high-end and is in a great location on the strip. Nearby hotels are the Wynn, Treasure Island, Ceasar's Palace, Bellagio. We enjoyed lunch across the street at Jimmy Buffett's restauant (outside, right on the strip) and another lunch outside at the Wynn's poolside restaurant. The only negative is we never won any money at all in the casino!! This will still be our choice for hotel if we return.

Front desk was very friendly and our room was more than we expected. Didn't use room service and we felt that beds were comfortable. Room was clean and maid service was great and room was supplied with everything we needed.
