This was my first time going to Las Vegas. I had a very hard time deciding what hotel i wanted to stay at with my fiance. After a couple months of looking at them all, back and forth, we decided on the Mirage.
It was amazing!!!!
All the staff were extremely helpful, nice, and polite!!
If we had to pick one thing we didn't like about this whole tell... I could not tell you anything!!
I guess it would HAVE to be the location of the hotel. It's more toward the end of the strip, so it is a A LOT of walking to get anywhere else.
Other than that... it was great and we had a fabulous 7 day stay!
We would definitly stay again!!!
Awesome!!

I stayed at the Mirage for 4 days June 22-26; everything was great!! Check-in was smooth and quick, I got the room I wanted with a king bed/non-smoking and a view of the pool which is what I wanted. The hotel was clean everywhere I looked. I spent a lot of time at the pool since that is my favorite part and though, like others have mentioned, you should get out there early if you want a spot, there were chairs available at most times, though perhaps not in the ideal area where you'd want it to be. I arrived on a Tuesday and it wasn't as crowded as it became on Thursday and Friday. The cocktail waitresses were great. The bed in the room was luxurious!! I have a tempurpedic at home and its hard to beat that, but I slept just as soundly on the ultra plush bed and linens in the Mirage. The bathrooms are small, as mentioned, but they are still nice. I love all the greenery at the Mirage, it looks and feels like you are in the middle of the Caribbean and the property isn't so huge that you feel like you have to walk a mile to get anywhere. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants so I can't comment on that. I did get a massage on my birthday and they have spa specials going on now. The staff at the spa were friendly and welcoming and that was very nice. The spa itself was beautiful inside. Since their remodel, I can highly recommend the Mirage!
I would reccommend this hotel to everyone going to vegas!

The entire staff including the house keepers were extremely nice. I checked in without any problem. I went into my room and was very happy that I had choosen the Mirage. I was traveling with medication that had to be refridgerated, so they had to bring me a fridg without a security code on it. I had one of the best times of my life!!!!! If you have not gone to vegas you gotta go, if you have gone to vegas what are you waiting on to go back again?!! This time stay at the Mirage! I will go again although I'm not a gambler I like to watch others play and win or lose (smile) I am a shop- a- holic so I spent most of my time and money in the shops. The food was expensive but I didn't mind since I didn't gamble or drink. I loved the pizza and the sandwiches. i saw security in the halls which made me feel safe and there were enough camaras to watch the rest of the hotel. I stayed for four days and now I wish I had stayed longer. I can't say how much fun I had this was a very spontanious trip planned in a few days, It was more than I dreamed of. I took lots of pictures to prove I actually went to Vegas on a wim thanks to travelocity and the Mirage I'll do it again. ----- SOON!!

I spent the week of my birthday at the Mirage. When I arrived I told the lady at the desk I was celebrating my birthday there and I wanted to be able to see the Eiffle Tower. She gave me a room with a beautiful view of the strip that overlooked the pool. I could also see the RIO and the lights of the city from my window. The room service was great. They saw to it that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meals and I didn't have a long wait. Two of my sisters flew in to join me on the day of my birthday and they both remarked how wonderful the room was. I think the hotel make the stay the best I have had in Vegas up to this date.
Nice place as long as the computers work

Let's get the bad out of the way 1st. When I checked in, it seems the power was out at the MGM Grand and that hotel is where the computer servers are located for the entire MGM/Mirage network. Consequently, the front desk at the Mirage took 2.5 hours to check me in (as well as the approximately 1,000 other guests who were made to stand and wait). No communication from hotel management, we were just left standing. Unbelievable arrogance on the hotel's part. After that phenomenal hassle, I was really blown away at the lack of hospitality/friendliness on the part of most of the hotel's employees. Except for one wonderful waitress at the breakfast buffet and the front desk clerk at checkout, every other employee was surly.
Now, the hotel itself and the room was very nice. Good location on the strip right next to Caesars.
But the negative experience outweighed the nice room. If LV has really been hurting and needing visitors who spend money, you couldn't tell by the employees at The Mirage.
