I Love Venetian

My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary from 3.8.2009 - 3.11.2009. We had a good time there. The hotel is gorgeous. One of the reasons i like this hotel so much is that it has a special smell thru the entire hotel that may bother some other people. To me, it smells like Jasmine. I am a non-smoker. I would rather smell like Jasmine than smell like smoke. None of other hotel has this special smell but smoke including Bellagio. Staff are all friendly and polite. Security is good. We have to pass 2-3 security when we get back to our room in the evening and have to use our room key to activate the elevator. Shower drainage can be improved in the bathroom . It drained very slow and this is my only complaint. I love the toilettries. I usually bring my own but i used the ones provided in the bathroom this time. They are June Jacobs Spa line. The green tea and cucumber body balm is my favorite. I normally don't care for fruity smell perfume or lotion but i like this green tea and cucumbe smell very much and it feels so hydrated. I just can't say enough good things about Venetian. I will defintely stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel

From the moment I walked into the casino/hotel I was amazed and blown away. The hotel is like a little piece of Veneice in Las Vegas. The detailing in the hotel was intricate. I really enjoyed the luxury suite. The bathroom was an oasis and the overall room was beautiful. Some things that were a disappointment about the room was the comfort level of the bed. I have slept in way more comfortable beds like Marriott and the Venetian was a five star hotel with a two star bed :(. The shower head in the bathroom could have been more stimulating but everything else was great. The quality of service at the Venetian was outstanding! Our room was cleaned everytime we walked out and we never had to make request for clean linen. I would make reservations again.

Great Stay at the Venetian

The Venetian hotel was great. It had a beautiful casino, great restaurants (we found that Bouchon was the best for breakfast), and great shows (we saw the Blueman Group). The bathroom in our room was gorgeous. Everything we needed was provided: ironing board and iron, hair dryer, etc. The hotel was easy to get around, and fairly centrally located on the strip. Taxis came through constantly so it was always easy to find one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shopping at the Grand Canal was great. It was so nice to hear the gondoleers singing while you're walking around. Also, guests can move from the Venetian to the Palazzo hotel very easily because they are connected. I highly recommend the Venetian and hope to stay there again.

BEAUTIFUL AND AUTHENTIC!!

I've stayed at the Venetian numerous times and I always try to stay here when visiting Vegas. The rooms (or suites, shall I say) are enourmous and gorgeous! Our suite was recently renovated and had flat screen TVS (3 including the one in the bathroom!!) and remote-controlled blackout curtains. I didn't want to leave our bathroom! Marble floors, separate tub and shower, double sinks, a vanity and a water closet. I wish my bathroom at home was like this! Everything about this hotel screams luxury and upscale without being stuffy. The hotel is perfectly located Mid-Strip and the amenities are abundant. Lots of restaurants and the Grand Canal Shoppes are right downstairs. Try the Grand Lux Cafe for a cheap meal. They're open 24 hours and its owned by the Cheesecake Factory people. Very tasty! The Venetian is within walking distance to the Palazzo, Mirage, Caesars, Wynn and Treasure Island. We had a Strip view and a view of the pool as well. We did go in August and we wanted to try out the pool but it seemed so crowded all the time and to be honest kind of bland. I will definitely stay at the Venetian again!

Venetian Resort

We were surprised to find out upon arrival that the Venetian has a smell throughout the hotel. As none of the other hotels have this odor we asked the front desk and were told it was called "passion" and they pump it into the air to mask the smoke. It smells like a cheap perfume from a strip club. Anyway all of our stuff smelled soon after and we would not stay there again baised on this alone. If you are sensitive to odors then go to Belligio or Ceasars. As for the "Strip View" this is very misleading, the way the hotel is turned you can only see part of Treasure Island and construction of another tower Palazzio is building. Room with a a view is basically a room looking at the fourth floor pool area. We called concierge to ask about our options to get cash when we realized how much more cash we were going to be needing and they were sending us to a bank about a mile away. We found out on our own that they have "no pin needed" visa cash advanced machines in the casino. There was definitely a lack of knowledge by the hotel staff on most of the hotels immentiies. Our room was nice but we did have a lot of black mildew in the shower - I was shocked. The hotel is beautiful but smells. The service is weak and for the money you should stay somewhere else and just visit and take a gondola ride.
