Stayed at the Venetian for our 10 wedding anniversary. What a beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and accomodating. We did not upgrade our room and it was huge. Bed was so comfortable. Room service was excellent. The ony problem we had the whole trip was deciding where to eat dinner for our anniversary night. Every single restaurant in the Venetian and Palazzo was above and beyond a wonderful dining experience. Canyon Ranch Spa is also excellent but you do pay a hefty price. The gym is $20 extra if you receive a service at the spa. I believe that should have been included. Overall, loved the hotel, its shops, restaurants, staff, casinos, and room.
Magnificent Opulence

Was not prepared for the utter opulence of the Venetian. Everything from the gaming floor to the hallways (even the ones leading to the rooms) and the rooms themselves were filled with Renaissance art, columns, statues and the like. Quite impressive. I?ve been to the real Venice, and it still impressed me. If you enjoy old-world atmosphere, the Venetian is a great place to stay in Vegas. The shops and restaurants are pricey (but what isn?t on the Strip) but there are many and the area is beautiful. It?s a large complex?it?s easy to get turned around and lost, but there is plenty of signage to get you going in the right direction.
The staff was friendly (unlike several of the reviews here) and eager to please. The night before our departure we asked the concierge where we could access a computer to print our boarding passes for Southwest (if you?ve ever flown Southwest, you know what I mean). We had tickets to a show at the Mirage that night and would be pressed for time. The concierge printed our boarding passes for us (we simply had to call and give flight details when it was time to print). The next morning they were at the concierge desk waiting for us. They also checked our bags through for our flight and held our carry-ons so we were free of them during the day. At departure time they suggested their contracted shuttle as the best way to get to the airport ($6 vs. $20 for a cab). When their first shuttle didn?t arrive, the contract rep said it would be late. Since I was paying cash and didn?t have a ticket for the shuttle, he brought a company SUV around to take us to the airport?same price. Very good service.

We were extremely excited to stay here but unfortuntely the front desk girl was NOT customer service oriented and was NOT helpful at all. We booked through online travel website and paid for a suite with 2 queen beds, however upon check-in the girl said we had 1 king bed. We stood there discussing and negiotiating with her for about an hour and ended up paying a higher price to get the 2 queens. Once we got to our suite it was absolutely dirty and we were NOT happy. We ended up waiting around 3 hours until they moved us and settled us into our room. The next morning I went down to the front desk to discuss the situation with the manager and he was also NOT helpful. It was a nightmare and we will never stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Venetian Hotel very much indeed. The reception desk and check in personnel were extremely helpful and friendly, also the concierge personnel went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and informed me of all the amenities that were available to me.
The only problem that I had was with room service. I realize that since the hotel is so huge that it is difficult to serve coffee and hot food for so many people; however, there were plenty of fine restaurants so I did not bother to have room service anymore.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends both here and in Europe.
