I was very disappointed in this hotel. This hotel is in a very bad neighborhood and there should be a caution when booking this hotel. I must say the poor overworked staff was good they upgraded me to a "nicer" room when i asked if i was going to be safe and the poor night desk person was running the front desk and bar. They needed to hire at least two more people They did everything they could, but when you have hotel in a bad neighborhood, the poor staff isn't working with much. This should be a one star hotel.

We stayed at this hotel with my husband, two kids, and my parents. We tried to get connecting rooms (which we had requested when we booked the rooms) but were initially told they were unavailable. They then put us in connecting rooms but we had to take 2 doubles rather than the 2 queens that we had boked. Then the connecting doors did not work; they were apparently painted shut and could not be opened. The staff was not particularly helpful or apologetic, although they did respond when we complained for the final time when we checked out. The carpets were filthy, our bed was very unstable, there was writing on the bathroom door, the refridgerator did not work, the bathroom door would not shut, the air conditioning unit was not fully attached to the wall and took up an unusual amount of space, and the window above the door would not close. Also, the gate to the pool was not working properly which was a safety issue.
Any one of the issues might have been merely an inconvenience but together made for a very unpleasant stay. A simple apology and a "what can we do to make it right" at the beginning would have made a big difference.
For parents staying with small children, be aware that there are 2 adult book/video stores within view, very clearly marked.

Our stay at the Days Inn was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. I was told that they had just gone through an extensive remodel, it showed. The staff were very helpful and gave some suggestions to a great winery event(Korbel), which my husband and I enjoyed. The pool was very nice and warm. My son specially enjoyed working out at the full service gym. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

I needed a cheap place to stay in the area one night, and I would have paid twice the money not to stay in this hotel. The curtains barely covered the windows so the security light outside blared into the room. There was constant noise outside the room, and I was certain someone was going to burst (or fall) into my room. The pillows were flat and musty smelling, and the sheets very stiff. When I got up in the middle of the night to get some water (which looked undrinkable from the tap), I was greeted by not only a spider in the sink, but a roach of some sort in the bathroom. Just trying to get back to sleep was impossible at that point.
Check out was at 10:00 a.m. - I was gone by 6:30.
Do not stay at this hotel!!

They tried to overcharge us 30.00 and we caught them. As of now, they still have not reversed the charges.
