The hotel is in a great location right on the way to Gettysburg and in a good location to see all the sights around the York area. The front office staff is friendly, but the cleaning staff looks down right scary. The soft furniture in my room was stained and the fabric ripped in some places. The tables all had patches in them where heat damage was apparent and something was previously mounted. If you are just looking to crash after a long day of traveling, this is a good and convenient place.

"We got there at 11 p.m. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with a very sour smell. The next thing we noticed was that bow-shaped mattress on the bed. There was a spider in the bathroom, hair in the shower and so much dust on the nightstand that i could literally write my name. "

Not at all what I had expected a 3 star hotel to be! The room was clean and the area was quiet. However the exterior of the building needed an overhaul. And the odor and algea growing from the pool was a site and smell for eyes. There's better places to stay in the area.

Great and clean rooms and facilities. Even greater staff. Special thanks to Manager who after hearing my wifes ordeal at that "dump" immediately accomadated her with a great room and rate. This hotel is definitely a pleasure and a plus for the Holiday Inn chain. Highly recommend!

This hotel was excellent! The staff was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating, the rooms were very clean and well kept, the food in the restaurant was delicious - I have no complaints about this hotel. In addition, York is a city central to everything. From Baltimore to the Amish Country, it's just a stone's throw from York. :)
