A good settled place to go with.

It's very easy to get to this hotel, as it's right off the highway and all you have to do is make a couple turns to get to it. It's far enough away from the busy street to not pick up the noise of traffic and has a couple restaurants that are walking distance.
The room was good, but it had a couple issues. One of the chairs had a little stitching messed up on it so it was uncomfortable dealing with it... Fortunately, there was another chair in the room to switch it with. The shower head was also too low, being more fit for someone who was petite.
This hotel like most La Quintas has its ordering systems although you'd may as well save yourself $* or bring your own N64.
It unfortunately was very obvious that the hotel didn't hire domestically, because when housekeeping woke me up by knocking on the door, I told the lady not to enter the room and she opened the door anyways.

The other reviews of this hotel were very accurate. The free breakfast was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Perkins has closed next door, so landscaping and parking area look a bit "unkept"

My wife and I were passing through Omaha and needed a place for one night so I booked based on the other reviews here + they were dog friendly. They didn't give us any trouble, check in was ok, but they did put us in a smoking room. The common areas in our building had dead bugs on the floor, there was a bug in the sink and the room looked tired. After a night we we were glad to leave so be warned this is not for any extended stay and keep expectations low. As mentioned, the Perkins is closed which also says something about the area too.

The Perkins next door is no longer in business, but the hotel breakfast bar is great!

Standard hotel, good value! Updated, clean, friendly staff, nice pool, easy highway access, safe. Nice breakfast spread-waffle maker. Sweet, elderly grandpa of employee sat on bench outside lobby & greeted/waved as we would come and go - a real plus!!
