Great Hotel

I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina for five nights in a bay facing room complete with a balcony. The hotel is divided into two towers with a two story entrance lobby connecting them. Behind the lobby, flanked by the towers, is a large pool, hot tub, and a couple outdoor bars (you can charge drinks to your room, and they're fairly cheap). There was plenty of seating around the pool throughout the day. Another plus is the abundance of cosy seating around the hotel for lounging.

I took my family to San Diego for my Post Graduate graduation ceremony. We had two wonderful rooms in the Marriot Marina Hotel. Great location, wonderfull view of the Marina, downtown San Diego and of course the ocean. The Staff were excellent at the Hotel. Very curteious and professional. When we needed something all we did was call and someone was at our door witin 5 minutes. I cannot say anything bad about the stay. The room had all we needed and was clean and confortable. I would definitely stay in the hotel again.

From the minute the valets met our car until we checked out we were treated like royalty. Warm and friendly staff, beautiful building, great location--5 blocks to the stadium and 3 to dozens of great restaurants-- self parking can be a little tight but the service alone makes you forget about that! the rooms are large and comfortable. Bathrooms were very roomy. views of the entire waterfront. Everyone WANTS to assist you--the bellman recommended food places. the desk people were courteous defined.
I will definatley stay again

The service when we checked in was great. Very friendly staff. The room was clean and nice sized. The view was amazing. The pool was very warm and had a lot of seating around it. I am looking forward to going back again.
Great Place in a Great Location

I hated to leave this hotel. The staff was most helpful, courteous, and understanding. They did everything we asked and more to make our stay comfortable. The room was absolutely clean and the bed was a dream. The hotel is located right on the bay with the walking path all the way to the airport and past/through Seaport Village right outside the door. The pool area is terrific (although the water slide was not working when we were there) and to top it all off, the view from the balcony of our room toward Coronado Island was simply gorgeous. Short walk to downtown, Gas Light district, and the trolly stop. It was a great value in a great place. I can't wait to go back.
