Great price & great stay

Wonderful, clean hotel. Couldn't beat the online travel website price. Stayed here a few years ago & was pleased. Clean, friendly staff. Great proximity to Union Square. Would definitely stay again
Great Hotel but Expensive Amenities

The hotel itself is a great place to stay, right downtown and within walking distance to all public transporation and shopping. The staff was friendly and the bed was really comfortable BUT it is insanely expensive to eat at their restaurant (Urban Tavern), $35 for breakfast!!!! If you want really great food, great service and their open 24 hours go to Cafe Mason, they are just up the street on Mason Street, $10 for breakfast:) and you have to try the Chicken Apple Sausage.

Nice hotel for our family spring break. Very central location. We had the sight and sound room which the kids loved.

The hotel is very well located. It is not too close to all the hustle and bustle so you can go back for a quiet sleep. However, it is only a few blocks from Union Square and that is great! The place was very clean and in a safe and clean spot for downtown SF. The pool and hot tub are not open very late. It seems reasonable to stay open till 11pm when the pool is away from rooms.

Great location, convenient to everything-trolley cars, restaurants, shopping. Great room, clean and nice size. Beds were great. Had a little trouble with the air conditioning system but hotel staff was there in a jiffy and took care of the matter promptly - operator error! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel restaurant was expensive ($29.00 per person breakfast buffet) but lots of alternatives within walking distance. A definite recommendation for a great stay in San Francisco.
