My wife and I visited san francisco for the first time. The wireless internet was down the entire 4 days we stayed there. They had 2 computers in the lobby that charged 30 cents a minute that were working fine. They said they were trying everything they could to get it working again, but I didn't believe that statement. The lights next to our beds didn't work. The main light in the bathroom took 10 minutes to come on. The Iron provided in the room was broken and couldn't hold water. The door to the room was consistently ajar upon returning after the housekeeping cleaned the room. I'm glad we took our valuables with us. The TV had a list of available channels sitting on top of it. Several of the channels were fuzzy and 2 of them including showtime which they advertised as being free was blacked out. When I consulted them about a refund, they told me I could leave but would not provide a refund because I booked the trip on line. When I called my online travel website they also refused to give a refund stating that they would not provide a refund for unused nights. I asked if there were any exceptions and was told that if I talked to a manager they would tell me the same thing.
I would not go back to this hotel again.

The hotel is cheap but filthy. In my room the mattress had a blood stain, stains all over the side(bed bugs?), the comforter had holes, the shower had mold. I would spend more money and stay elsewhere.
The worst Hotel I have stayed in for a while

Beware when booking as the room they gave us was right up against highway 101 - 10 lanes across and truck traffic all night. We ran the Bath and AC fans trying to drown out the noise.... no help. We got about 3 hours of restless sleep.
WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised of how well kept and clean the rooms were. My biggest fear about staying at hotels is the cleaniless of the room, down to the detail. I am a clean freak so I notice small things. When we entered the room, we knew that we were going to enjoy sleeping there. The beds were really clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the staff was great. Everyday we came back to a nice clean room just as if we were entering it for the first time. We were overall pleased with our stay. Sightseeing around downtown San Francisco just made our stay even better, knowing that our hotel was just 10 minutes away. Good Job Travelodge!!!!

The motel is exactly as described. If you need a cheap roof over your head, then this is the place. Better hotels across the street.
