The key card for our room did not work the man up front had to keep opening for us. The bathroom shower had mold in it. The wireless connection for our laptop did not work. All in all we won't be going back to that hotel again. Its to bad because we will be spending alot of time in Stanford in the next year.

the staff was super friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. the front desk agents were well informed with everything the city had to offer and helpful when ordering a taxi... the pool had some leaves in it but it was winter anyway who wants to swim then right? the room was great clean and the hotel maids were also super helpful and very sweet. and only a walk away from stanford.
A good place to have your car towed

I have been recommending this place for 15 years, but never again. I was hosting an international meeting at Stanford University, and one of my colleagues stayed here. They towed his car 3 cities away and the tow company charged him $300!!! Stay away from this place, they are greedy and nasty. They are more concerned with managing their inadequate parking lot than with their guests.
Delapidated Rip Off

This hotel needs to be raized! It is old, worn out, unattractive. We knew we were in for it when we walked in the lobby.--Unwelcoming. Had it not been an absolute impossibility, we would have gone somewhere else. The room was extremely shabby.
The pool was dirty and full of dead leaves. The surrounding area;chairs broken and tossed aside. The overall hotel grounds (what little there was) was neglected and unkempt. The neighborhood? At best, so so. The staff: apathetic. Our room phone did not work. Continental Breakfast: meagre. The best that can be said is that we were just a few minutes from our appointment.
