Pleasant but not great

Room was normal size with a ceiling fan, fireplace, shower, and separate jacuzzi tub. Our stay started with the cleaning person having left the heat on full blast. We had to leave the door open to the outside for some time to cool off the room. Bed was a little soft but was able to sleep. Breakfast included waffles. Business area open reasonable hours and did have wireless access in the rooms. Came back to the hotel another night and the heat was left on again. Seemed the room was always warm even after keeping the door open for awhile. The main problem we had was we had just left an awesome Holiday Inn Express in Benson Arizona and the Southwest Inn did not live up to that standard. Room was ok and did enjoy the jacuzzi but not as enjoyable as our previous nights.

A lovely hotel room with a kiva gas fireplace and private patio with seating. The service was terrific and the staff friendly. A small but well maintained hotel in West Sedona.

"After reading a couple of 'bad' reviews but far more good ones, we booked with some hesitation. However, our experience was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the rooms were sooo clean!! Everything felt fresh and well cared for. And we loved the cute gas fireplace -- very cozy on a cool night. Highly recommend booking a 2nd floor room with the private deck. Views are much better and worth the extra money."

Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was ready for us at 7am with fresh fruit, bages. cereals and homemade waffles.
