Stayed during the Thanksgiving weekend. Location is superb for access to The Plaza, Crown Center, restaurants, theatre, etc. The Hotel is currently under renovation, but just a few floors a time. A very nice property, even though somewhat aged on floors which have yet to be refurbished.

It was a great break. The rooms were everything we requested and beautiful. King beds, luxury bedding, two flat screen tv's plus a working desk. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Hotel is located across the street from Plaza shopping - a must see during the Christmas holiday.
Terrible Customer Service

I prepaid for a room. I arrived at 10:30PM to check in and was told that all rooms had been sold out and that they would provide me a room down the road. I selected the Raphael because it was a 4 star hotel in a great location. They gave me a 3 star hotel down the road a mile.
I understand mistakes happen. I was treated like I shouldn't be surprised that they didn't have a room and that I should be happy they were willing to put me up somewhere.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They may be a 4 star hotel but their customer service was definitely budget hotel quality.

Across the street from the plaza,this is a nice 4 star hotel trying to be a 5 star. Guest rooms were spacious, staff was friendly and service was great. Some small things still need work but overall we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Not great for families but for a couple or business stay is perfect. Best deal by the plaza! We took a gondola ride at night on the river that was very peaceful and right across from the hotel. Shopping and dining in the plaza was excellent.

Great location right in the Plaza but rooms were not clean and need to be updated. No pool or hot tub but 24/7 room service was great.
