  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • March 29, 2009
Quote: Very generic motel, but, I found the room clean, the shower head was very efficient, and, there was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable, and, the room temperature was easily controlled. I was also impressed with the lovely assortment of... Read the full Best Western Martys Valley Inn review

  • August 13, 2008
Quote: I got exacly what I paied fir, but I think this is not a three star hotel. For those that are new to hotel experience this hotel is good but for those that stayed in four and five star hotels this would be a dissapoitment. Go only if there is no... Best Deal for the Area - Would stay Again

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 22, 2008
Quote: The room was clean and fresh, amenities were excellent and close to the lobby. Heard very little sounds from adjoining rooms or from the courtyard. I would definitely stay here again as there are restaurants, shops nearby. Staff was very friendly as... Read the full Best Western Martys Valley Inn review

Extremely friendly staff at Marty's

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • August 6, 2007
Quote: The staff was very friendly and helpful! Pool was very pleasant. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the use of the roll away beds, the two we tried were very uncomfortable. We had a very pleasant stay while in town for my son's baseball... Read the full Best Western Martys Valley Inn review

Not a 3 Star!

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • July 25, 2007
Quote: Had to take a shower in standing water (called to have it fixed, never was). Pool needs refinishing. Chairs are stained. Front of hotel is very old looking. Room just didn't feel clean.

Altogether Average

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • July 23, 2007
Quote: This hotel and stay was very 'average'. Nothing special but also nothing horrible. The beds were double (which I knew but forgot to think about because most of the hotels we have gone to have had queens) so for families it is a little tight. The... Good Value

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • June 24, 2007
Quote: This motel is a good value when I recently went to visit my son on Camp Pendleton. Close enough to the base. The pool & hot tub were nice & I was not disappointment with the motel. I felt that I got what I paid for!

Garbage Hotel

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • May 8, 2007
Quote: Did not feel very safe there. Rooms needed to be renovated. The breakfast was horrible. Not worth a penny.

Beware of Construction

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • November 14, 2006
Quote: We stayed one night and slept in. There's major construction going on next door, but you should have no problem if you leave early in the morning. The hotel met my expectations, but someone knocked on our door after 1:00 AM.

Lousy Experience

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • October 10, 2006
Quote: Horrible location, far from the beach, not too many dining options. Actually had to drive 5 mile for something decent. Hotel seemed more than 5o yrs old, not quite sure, but I am sure I will Not stay there again.
