A Great Place to Stay

I found La Quinta Inn to be clean, comfortable, and friendly. Price was reasonable; continental breakfast was wonderful. I'd stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. Easy access to freeways, too.

A very functional Hotel. Easy access to the freeway - good continental
breakfast - close to many restuarants.. Stay there on all trips North.

The room was clean and neat. All in all, I was as satisfied with it as I have been with rooms of twice the price.

This hotel was a little difficult to get to, as we had to drive through carl's jr, to get to it, as the hotel was located directly behind it and there was no other way in. The t.v. remote did not work, but they gave us new batteries. The front desk area and the hotel hallways had a lot of cigarette smoke. Our room was located outside on a balcony. The room was clean, but small. There were no extras here, just a basic room. The room was supposed to have a refrigerator, but didn't. We only had to stay one night, which was fine at the time. The bed was comfortable, it was very quiet, but there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It was o.k. for a day or two, wouldn't suggest any longer here. The price was great.

This is my second stay at this La Quinta. It is clean and a good value. The rooms are spacious and you don't feel locked in. The free wireless internet works well. It isn't posh but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The continental breakfast, isn't lavish but it will get you fed in the morning. I won't hesitate to stay at this motel again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any traveller looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced stay in Bakersfield.
