Ok but expensive - unfortunately not so many choices

Our family stayed there on our recent trip to visit family nearby. Let me first say that I am in generally not crazy about the Comfort Inn brand. I have found them to be inconsistent on cleanliness, room size, service, location, and pricing. That said, this place is better than many of the other Comfort Inns I have stayed. This hotel was clean, offered reasonable room sizes, a good breakfeast (this has been a consistent good point at all the CIs), free internet, and free parking. Location is nothing special unless you need to be in this area. Best if you have a car. Service is good but basic - the front desk is helpful but is generally only staffed with 1 person most of the time. And the "exercise room" is nothing more than a large closet. Although I would stay here again, I feel that this place is overpriced for what it is (a basic hotel for over 2 bills) and will always be keeping my eyes open for something new nearby that can provide a better value...

Clean, friendly, quiet, and adequate to the purpose.

On the ocean, in an interesting international nook, of an international city. Staff was professional and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was limited choice, but well stocked and enjoyable. Parking was on-street and adequate.

Being a former new yorker I'm used to getting less than what I pay for so my stay at the comfort inn in sheepshead bay didn't disappoint my low expectations. The comfort sunshine breakfast's high point was an elderly gentleman reliving his past as a performer in the catskills as "tango bob" but the food reminded of a bad jr high cafeteria. The location is prime, but otherwise it rates a solid 2.
