The location was wonderful--right across the street from the beach with a convenient sky walk to avoid crossing A!A. The carpets smelled "mildewy" in the hallways and we kept smelling cigar smoke in our non-smoking room while the air conditioning was running. We had a magnificent ocean front view, but we disappointed that we didn't have a balcony--just sealed picture windows.

Great location for the Fourth. Right on the beach. Pet friendly hotel. Good valet service. Within walking distance to lots of places.

the hotel was pretty good with the exception of the rooms ! could definitely use some cleaning methods

This wasn't our first stay. We try to visit once or twice a year. Each time we enjoy our stay, the staff, and Shula's - the best. Within walking distance to everything including water taxi and night life. Don't need a car. This hotel always treats us great, several times we were upgraded to larger rooms because we are Starwood Preferred Members. Pool Bar is a nice way to spend a lazy afternoon and can't beat the skywalk to the beach!

I moved to this hotel after spending one night at a terrible hotel down the block. The room was clean. The bed and other furniture were comfortable. Nice view. It was quiet, even though my room was right next to the elevator. The staff was pleasant enough. It gave me the relaxing time that I was seeking, not like the dingy, depressing and somewhat unsafe hotel where I spent the first night. I would stay there again.
