My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in February of 2009. The room was clean, the in room internet was flawless and had no problems of any kind. Is this a 5 star hotel? It is not. It is worth the price for the rooms compared to other hotels I have stayed in Anchorage in the last 2 years The location is good to downtown, parking is good. For the price I feel it is a place I will always stay when I come to Anchorage

Clean & comfortable room, very helpful staff, about 6 blocks from downtown activities, restaurants & shop. We would definitely stay at this location again. The only thing that was missing were amenities - except for coffe/tea in small eating area, there weren't any extras. At least a minimal continental breakfast would definitely enhance a stay here.

Worst hotel in Anchorage, drunks, street noise, dirty, stinks, rude staff

Hotel was very dirty, unprofessional staff, treated my wife bad. There was drunks all over the side we stayed in, I could not even smoke a cigarette without getting into a converstation with a drunk which I could not understand a word they were saying. No elevator on the side we stayed in, no breakfast, no refridgerator. The ice machine was in the other building(3 flights of stairs down & across) We had to pay $5 for 20 minutes of internet.
