I chose this hotel from a recommendation. I was disappointed. When I arrived at the hotel, the lobby was very nice and the front desk person was very personable. Downhill from there. As I walked to my room near the pool, the area I had to walk through smelled VERY strongly of urine. It was very offensive. In the room, the bathroom light would not come on until it had "warmed up" for about 20+ minutes. I called the front desk about it and they said they would come down as soon as possible. I was still waiting an hour later. When I called again, I was told that they were trying to get down there, but it was busy. I told them 'don't worry about it, it's on." I discovered there were roaches in the closet which prompted me to leave lights on all night. Gave me the creeps! The hotel needs a SERIOUS upgrade. It's definitely pretty old. All the doors had maroon paint swiped across what appeared to be numbers. The doors were blue! It definitely had an OLD feel to it which made the rooms seem not to be quite clean. What was good was the continental breakfast, the Longhorn restaurant right next to the hotel and the plaza across from the hotel. The cost of the room didn't match the quality of the hotel, especially when the one I originally wanted was the same price and NEWER. I will not go to this hotel again. It was disappointing. I'm glad I only stayed 1 night.

We used to stay at this property everytime we went to visit my son at Ft. Benning. No longer. The area has declined greatly. I no longer feel safe there at night. The rooms are getting shabby and the entire place has a run down feel to it. Staff was not exactly rude...more like uncaring. We had to request maid service every day, since by 4 pm they STILL had not made up our room. One day my 8 year olds pocket change $1.30 disappeared off the dresser. Beds are showing thier age. Pool was clean and well maintained, and for convience, there are several places to eat adjacent. Close to Ft. Benning.

An OK stay

Hotel is clean and well kept interior and exterior. Very good location to interstate, shopping and restaurants. We didn't get room service the first day. We took our dirty towels down and retrieved clean towels and toilet paper. Continental breakfast was insufficiently maintained. Staff not very friendly or cheerful. Room was smaller than expected but reasonably priced.

Average hotel with one problem that blossomed into 3. A liner in the tub had holes in it--water 'squished' out of the holes during shower. When informing guest service desk, was told first, it would be taken care of. That evening, still had the holes. 2nd call to service desk, was told I had 'called too late' and that it would be taken care of in the a.m. When I said that this was my 2nd call--had complained in the a.m., was told I would get a credit on my bill. Well, THAT didn't happen. Stil waiting for the manager to 'get back with me.' Problem 1: holes in the tub--small, but there they are. Problem 2: liars at the service desk. Problem 3: no management call-back...yet.... Why didn't they just move us to another room???
