Great Location, Dirty Place

The hotel seems nice enough--until you get to the rooms. We were greeted by gigantic roaches on two separate occasions; our floors were wet from the leaky A/C; they did not clean our rooms one day, so we had to dig through our wet pile of towels (not pleasant after the roach thing) to grab wash cloths then had the share three handtowels to dry off. When we brought it up upon checkout, the girl kinda shrugged and apologized. We had a view of the ocean, which was nice. I'm not a princess and I'm not a complainer, but I would not stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. We ended up with an ocean view room and it was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Corpus Christ.
When you get a beach hotel, you get roaches

The Radisson Hotel in Corpus was very nice, on the water, quiet except for downstairs visitors who stayed on their balconey, laughing and talking until the early morning hours. Then I heard scratching all over the room, roaches! were in all areas of the room. Our chips and cookies were closed up but that didn't keep the little creatures out. We had to put all of our food (chips and snacks) outside the room in a bag to be able to sleep.

Let's just say that the service personnel at the restaurant (and room service) moved exactly like molasses in the winter. If you go to stay at this hotel, make sure you bring along food because their only restaurant closes between 2pm-5pm then closes again at 10pm. Blackbeard's across the street might be open until 11pm but don't count on anything else being open in the area.
Plus, their in-room air conditioning units are so loud that it took me a long time to be able to get to sleep every night that I was there (and supposedly, mine was one of the quiet ones). Some friends staying at the hotel found dead (thank goodness at least) cockroaches in their rooms upon their arrival. Their main ballroom is a joke too - too small and badly designed.
The saving grace was that their bartenders in the lounge were friendly and helpful and so were the evening/night frontdesk clerks. That's about the nicest thing I can say about the hotel. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

The good thing about this hotel was its location; right on the beach. The bad thing was woke up at 4 a.m. and there was a huge cockroach on my pillow beside me. Got bit by bed bugs. Which I didn't know what they were till I got back home and googled the images and sure enough thats what bit me. When I checked out , the receptionist ask me how my stay was and I told her about the roach and that I was bit up by something. That I was guessing at the time bed bugs. Well, she just wrote it down on a piece of paper. Not a care in the world. So when I got back home and realized it was indeed bed bugs, I was upset. Called the main Radisson company and customer service acted like, " oh well." That they would call me. Not one phone call to the date. Never will I stay in a Radisson again. I have stayed at many hotels before; never an experience like this one. In fact this is the first time I have wrote a bad review, which is the truth. I thought people wrote bad reviews sometime just because they were unpleasable. Now I see these reviews are so true. The restaurant there was nice though. Good food experience. The maid was nice and the receptionist when we checked in was very nice. The pool wasn't clean. There was trash floating on top of the water. Thats about it. :(
