very short walking distance to all the gay nightlife, rooms are clean.. but the restaurant needs upgrading to match the beautiful views food is just average and the room service menu is quite lacking in options.. overall a great place to stay.. clean and non-smoking!!

Stayed there as a business traveler this past week. Thought it was a great place, due to the many gov. building w/in walking distance! Also, great restaurant on the top level overlooking the entire city was my favortie!

Semi-good hotel, however the hallways are either very hot during the summer or very cold in the winter. Also no security on property and too many drunks roaming the halls

We booked the room off hotwire.com for about $50/night. The hotel was close the the Capitol Building and a few other attractions, but Raleigh in general was just plain BORING. The room, however, was very nice, with a cool balcony overlooking the "city."
