Nice hotel to stay at. Price is fair for being is Steamboat Springs. They have very nice beds, hotel looks new, nice staff. We never used the pool & spa, but they looked well kept for the guests to use.

This hotel has very nice beds. I was in Steamboat Springs for a day and La Quinta was a best choice. Hotel lookes new, breakfast in the morning was nice. I will come back to ski in winter.
Worst hotel/ski stay experience

Upon checking in, I was told I need to pay extra $35.00 for the resort tax. When I show them the paper with the detail billing, the hotel stated the resort tax was not included and needed to be pay if you want to stay here. It was not much money, but was just a surprises. I had been in so many ski resort for the past years, this is the first time I had encountered such problem. After checked in and unloaded the luggage, I tried to ask the direction to go to Gondola, and there was no help at all from the hotel.

Showers were lukewarm, blowdryer did not work, cords on the floor around room, breakfast just okay, no exercise room,

Place was reasonably priced, and although it's not luxury, it is quiet. A very relaxing place to stay if you are going up for the weekend.
