Nice hotel but...

Did a weekend getaway and wanted to stay at the best hotel. St. Regis was a nice, very clean, and comfortable hotel, but is a good place for a business trip, not a family vacation. Very bad customer service experience after checkout though as I was charged for the room AFTER checkout even though it was paid for by the travel website when the reservation was made. Eight days later, after 2 phone calls and an email, the issue still is not fixed.

I spent a week at the St. Regis and came away feeling very relaxed having a great vacation. It is certainly a luxury hotel, the furnishings, carpeting, etc. were new and fit with the mountain resort theme. The beds were absolutely heavenly, and the rooms were always attended to promptly. Room service and poolside food, was good. I've had better cesear salads at nondescript Marriotts, but the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The staff we encountered at the St. Regis (and indeed everywhere in Aspen) were absolutely sweet, helpful, and unpretentious. I did enjoy my stay at the St. Regis immensely, but I felt that in terms of decor, the dark paneling, immense fireplaces, etc. would probably be more welcome as a respite from snow and skiing than from 85 degree sunny weather.

Really nice hotel, the best one in Aspen.
All the rooms have plasma TV, free wireless, two sink bathroom and humidifier.
They also have Butler and Ski Butler services, complimentary shuttle from the airport and around the city, heated pool with 3 hot tubs and a bar at the pool as well. 24hours Fitness Center and Business Center. Remede Spa, the best one in town. The staff are from all over the world so they speak many languages, you will not have problems with that. Complimentary coffee in the morning and a welcome hot cider in the afternoon. Valet service, Gift shop and also Ski shop so you can rent and store your skis and don`t have to take them up to the room.

My experience was amazing, if you want to come to Aspen and have a wonderful experience don`t think about another hotel, stay at the St Regis.

My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis and absolutely loved it. The staff was superb. My husband is allergic to feathers, and the bedding is filled with them. We called the front desk and new bedding was brought up and changed immediately. The concierge was also very helpful. We'll definitely be back soon.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff exceedingly helpful. This is the class of its field.
