We stayed at Sam's Town Hotel/Casino. All the staff was very helpful & friendly. We have stayed here before and we always have a good experience. The location of the hotel is very good with easy access to other attractions in the area. Would recomend a stay there.

If you are looking for a casino, steer clear of Sams Town Shreveport!! Hotel was nice, but where's the casino? Typical BOYD formula, lots of money making slots for them, no casino for you, just a tiny slot parlor. If you want a real casino, steer clear of Boyd properties

The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. While my husband and I were in and out both days because of family activities, the valet service and security offered was fantastic. We were entering during late hours after celebrating with the family. We enjoyed the stay.

We've been to Shreveport many times and really enjoy it. Sam's Town has very nice hotel rooms, very roomy with large bathrooms and a good view of the river. I had reserved a smoking room and told at check-in it was a smoking room. After getting to the room and calling down for an ashtray I was told that my whole floor was non-smoking, but I could smoke by the elevators. Otherwise everything was great and we will return.

"The hotel was lovely with a beautiful room. Very small casino. The shower handle fell off of the shower. The air conditioner didn't work. Also, it was me and my 14 year old and I was provided 1 king bed. The hotel would not provide a room with two beds or a smoking room. Overall, service was good. "
