Great Hotel

Very Clean, nice pool & hottub. We stayed in a suite & I was completly satisfied. Would Stay here again! Also, great area and great staff.

I booked through a source that does not identify the hotel until you book, I couldn't get out of the reservation after reading many reviews. There were people changing rooms right and left because of the roach problem. I did see roaches when we first walked in, and during the entire stay I was looking for more. The bar in the back blasts music out to the beach and DJ's inviting the public up to partake of the drinks. These bar patrons then come over into the pool with their drinks. Pool is for hotel guests. I complained to the front desk, can't do anything about the loud music at the pool, and the DJ is being paid for keeping non-guests from getting in the pool. He was not doing his job. They make a half hearted attempt to keep public out by giving wristbands to guests, however, no one enforces it. My bed frame was on wheels and the bed was constantly being pushed away from the wall, pillows on the floor, etc...
the mattress and box springs were wore out. Horrible stay, definitely not for families. This place was advertised as a condo on the beach and a 3 star. Since we booked, they've bumped it down to a 2 1/2. It struggles to be a 1 1/2. If they got rid of the roach problem, closed the beach access at the tiki bar area, and upgraded the beds, they could work on the repair of the outer structure and maybe keep a 2 star during the process. Right now it's a dump.

This hotel was literally falling apart. Our balcony door did not even lock, the toliet wabbled, the bottom boards around the bed were actually falling against the walls on the side of the bed, and theb door to the hall had 1 lock that worked and 2 that were broken. The pictures on this website look like they were taken many years ago. While unloading the car, we were verbally threatened by a mob of 10+ men. We felt very unsafe. We spoke with several other guest who also felt they had been duped by pictures and descriptions of this hotel. Several of those guest cut there stay short. Those guest also said that at night they felt very unsafe,, and some complained of their rooms having very foul oders
Look at your room before checking in!

The hotel is updating rooms and doing some construction, so there was alot of noise. The room we were given was very run-down, dated and dirty. I got the impression they don't give the newest rooms to Travel online customers. One of the beds was impossible to get comfortable on......The initial front-desk woman was rude and our telephone service was cut off three times during the visit despite having paid the $20 deposit required. We were not given a king size bed as booked and the "ocean view" was not very good. We couldn't sit on the very small balcony because the window air conditioner blew hot air on you continously. The chairs out there were pitiful. We had two contacts with housekeepers who were very nice and there was security present, but the room was so bad we left before using all the nights we paid for in advance.
Awesome Daytona Fountain Beach

We had such a great vacstion at your resort. Our room had a great view of the beach. We were so close to the Boardwalk we just walked there. The restaurant and Tiki Bar made our stay even more enjoyable with the DJ and music on the pool deck. Our Room was great and we can't wait to come back.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our trip so memorable.
