The Quality Inn had a very nice lobby. The front desk staff, Very Friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was free breakfast, nothing fancy, but enough to get you started. It's not a fancy, resort style hotel, but it is worth the room rate. It is a little ways out, away from the main downtown area. I would guess five miles. But a very quiet and safe area. Would stay again if needed.

Very easy to find, right off the interstate. Desk staff very friendly. Room very nice, clean, everything we needed, rocking recliner was a nice touch. Free coffee was available in the lobby when we checked in. Although we did not partake of the free breakfast, it was a nice arrangement with a good variety. Very pleased and very good price for this area.

Not a Real Holiday Inn Express

Although it is called a Holiday Inn Express, this property is really just an old-fashioned two story motel, with no interior hallway. The free "high speed" wireless internet access was so slow it was unusable. The buildings are rusty and decrepit. The room was drab, with the bathroom light fixture not working correctly. You have to walk over to the main building to get ice. The continental breakfast was cold cereal, cold danish, or some frozen waffles you could put in a toaster. The only things close to this hotel are two gas stations, an auto-body repair shop, and a freeway, which you should stay on and avoid this hotel. There is a new, seemingly real, Holiday Inn Express being constructed next door. That won't help the bad location, but should improve the facilities. On the plus side, the cable TV had a wide variety of channels, and the shower had good water pressure. However, with a wealth of nicer hotels in the Greensboro area, there's no reason to recommend this dud.

What a pleasure

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk called immediately to see if the room was up to standards. We had a problem with the door locking and the staff immediately moved us to another room and carried everything for us. Guests are treated to continental breakfast and afternoon snacks as well. The rooms were immaculate. After this stay, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Greensboro!

My daughter and I stay at this hotel one weekend every month. We travel to G'oro to visit family. The staff is very nice. Breakfast is great and everything is consistently clean. Michelle Norfolk, VA
