Not worth the savings

We picked this hotel based on cost but it was not at all worth it. The rooms are small and just seemed run down. The property does not give off the feel of security at all..there are signs everywhere advising to watch for people in the dark/hidden parking lot, locking doors, reporting anyone that "looks" like they don't belong, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant only to be ignored because their was a conference group there which was much more important to the single two waitresses available. Even after the conference group left, the waitresses were more interested in setting up for thier breakfast then serving us...correcting orders or refills.
Our terrible stay...

Our room was so stuffy and smelled so badly of mold. If you looked on the ceiling in the bathroom you could see all the mold. The walls were cracked and the floors were dirty. The carpet was stained so badly that I refused to take my shoes off.
We made 3 (one minute long) long distance calls and were charged almost 20 dollars. There was a pub in the main lobby that was so loud and rowdy that you didnt feel safe. We werent gauranteed a parking spot when we came back because of the pub customers.
Upon check out the lady at the front was so rude to us that I would have to say she just completely turned us off of ever staying there again on top of all the other things. I had to wash all my clean clothes from my suitcase cause they all smelled like that dump.
I must have been exhausted when I booked this place.

This place is old. When I first walked in, the musty room smell almost knocked me over. My asthmatic daughter reached for her inhailer several times. Despite Triple A requirements for smoke detectors, (or fire extinguishers) in every room, this room had no detector and the extinguisher gauge was on empty.
I was affraid to try the air conditioner, for mold to be blown into the room.
This place was not worth the money. In the US, I've paid less and received better service and better rooms.
I must have been really tired when I booked this place ahead on line.

They advertised a swimming pool, it was not open until further notice. We had to call the manager because of noisethat went on for over 30 minutes. I would not stay inthis hotel again.
