Would not recommend to stay here if more than 1 person. The rooms are so small maybe 160sq ft. The bathroom is so small you couldnt change in there let alone sit on the toilet properly. The closet is small and the iron board couldnt even get in there, They had it under the bed. The bed was uncomfortable and was situate opposite a window airconditioner. We checked out as soon as we found accommodations. Luckily for us we did as this is the July 4th weekend! The staff were courteous though and helped us get on our way elsewhere

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived to check in I was informed that their computer systems were down and it would be a few minutes. A few minutes quickly because a half hour. I was surprised to learn that there is only one very small elevator in the hotel with comfortably only fit four adults and since the building seems old it takes forever to arrive. Upon checking in I immediately booted up my laptop to make sure that wi-fi was working correctly. Of course, it wasn't. I called the front desk and was directed to call tech support, which consisted of ONE woman, who told me that she knows nothing about Mac computers and can not help me. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and provided great nights' sleep. The area was amazing. Although there is not a whole lot to do in the vicinity. The continental breakfast consisted of fruit, cereal and bagels, which I was not expecting. There is no room service available in the hotel. All in all, good room for the price.
Great Value for the location!

I loved not being in the hussle and bussle of mid-town. Don't get me wrong, I like going to the shows and such, but it was so wasy to hop on the orange/blue subways and the redline was only a couple blocks away. Strolling through central park was one of the highlights of being in the area. No need to spend more money to stay in mid-town when it's so easy to hop on the subway. Only complaint is that the air conditioning couldn't seem to keep up with 90-some degree weather, the room was somewhere around 80 degrees even though we had the air on full blast.
Okay, but I got claustrophobia

The location of this hotel is great, the price was affordable. It was perfectly clean and adequate but my room was teeny-tiny. I could do little more than sit on the bed, and getting to the toilet without bumping into the sink was not a simple matter. Overall the experience was like some hotels I've stayed at in Japan, but over there minimal space is the norm. Even so, I'd stay here again--after all, what's a hotel room except a place to sleep?
NYC Cheap

Hard to find a room in the summer in NYC for the rate we got: $*. The rooms are impossibly cramped, the lobby feels like a submarine deck and the beds are small. But, as someone who has actually lived in New York City, it's all about money and location. And you can't beat either here.
If you're going for a romantic getaway on a budget, this is your place. And let's face it, how much time are you planning on spending in your hotel room? If your answer is, "A lot," then what are you doing her? This is New York City!
We walked from the Theater district all the way back to the hotel after a show and, frankly, were so tired that the size of the room was the last thing on our minds.
