Road Warrior Loves the Riverhouse

I went to Oregon this past week on business and stayed at a great hotel in Bend called the Riverhouse Hotel. I come to this area often for my business but have never stayed at the Riverhouse Hotel. I was greatly surprised. I had heard they finished a renovation, so I thought I would try it. My biggest needs are free internet access that really works, a good hot breakfast that is free and a good night sleep on a firm mattress. The Riverhouse had these things and in fact in reality not just in promises. It annoys me when a place says they have free internet and they really don’t, or in fact it is free but it never works. For my business I have to be connected and I don’t want it to be a pain.
The front desk people were very friendly and always greeted me when I walked past. I like that too. And if I want to run into the town of Bend, it is a straight shot from the Riverhouse. I congratulate them on their great renovation and for delivering on the promises of the things that are important to me. I am a road warrior and I know what I want

First I would like to say, that in all my travels, this is one of my favorite Hotels to stay at when I am in Bend, Oregon. Coming from a big city the quiet peaceful setting gives one the feeling of seclusion, and yet this hotel is conveniently located north of the City Center near shops, golfing, skiing and downtown Bend. The Riverhouse staff is very helpful and friendly, and the rooms are beautiful offering wireless internet, refrigerator, microwave and Ironing board. The Deschutes river view is so calm and comforting, the rooms were very clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. When traveling for business it is convenient when there is a restaurant on-site. The Riverhouse provides and a hot, buffet breakfast which is included in the room price. I highly recommend this hotel; please keep up the wonderful job.

The Riverhouse Resort a Pet-Friendly Hotel in Bend
I was lucky enough to find a great, pet friendly hotel in Bend Oregon, The Riverhouse Resort. I was not planning on stopping during my road trip, however when I reached Bend I could go no further. My only problem was what was I to do with Monty, my miniature poodle. Upon check-in at the Riverhouse Resort the staff was exceptionally welcoming and without hesitation told me they are a Pet Friendly hotel, they even directed me to a nearby convenience store to buy Monty some last minute treats.
I found Bend Oregon’s Riverhouse Resort to be comfortable, with awesome beds and all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of their caliber. The rooms were very large so I didn’t feel bad leaving Monty. There was a great jogging path that ran along the Deschutes River that we enjoyed and the sound of water was so relaxing after a long drive. The Riverhouse Resort was conveniently located to downtown Bend and although they do accept pets, you would never know it unless you had one. It was truly a great, last minute find for us. The Complimentary Hot Breakfast in the morning was an added bonus and got us started on our road trip once again. I would highly recommend Bend, Oregon’s Riverhouse Resort for anyone looking for a pet friendly hotel in Bend.

My business partner and I stay at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center several times each year while consulting for nearby clients. We heard about this great Bend hotel from a client and decided to try it. In the past, we have stayed at other hotels or motels, I guess you could call them, in the same vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Riverhouse Resort for the first time. Our business keeps us on the road over 65% of the year, and we usually stay at a chain hotel since it is easy and you normally know what you are getting.
Since we stay for at least one week during each trip, we appreciate that they have larger rooms with all the conveniences you would need for a lengthy stay including a great work space. The onsite Business Center has everything you need to keep your business on track. The rooms are clean, well-kept and have a nice, comfortable feel to them. Where else can you work while overlooking the Deschutes River running just outside your balcony? If you need to travel for work, you might as well enjoy it.
We never have to go far when entertaining our client’s as the hotel has a wonderful on-site restaurant, The Crossings. The chef is wonderful as is the entire staff. They are all friendly and genuine and not obtrusive so you can easily conduct business without too many interruptions.
I am so glad that we found the Riverhouse Resort, and will continue to return for business and pleasure!
