TINY ROOM!

We stayed for two nights and by the second night I was getting claustrophobic! The room was so tiny there was barely enough room to get around. The bed was only a double--way too small and uncomfortable for my husband and I to sleep well. There was an uneven spot in the floor in front of the entertainment center and when you walked past it, it rattled very annoyingly. There was barely enough room to get in the bathroom and shut the door. Water pressure was poor and the heating/cooling unit was quite loud. Continental breakfast was minimal, but staff was friendly. I would not stay here again.

We first started staying here in 2004. And been back each year to spend our Brason vacation (2-4 days) here at this hotel. We found the front desk responsive and very friendly!
The hotel has a unique entrance and castle-like atmosphere with its 3 large 3 story buildings(side by side). COOL!! A nice quite place away from the busy life of downtown. But still close to downtown. SO COOL!! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with great Entertainment! Anywhere from Elvis to country youdling! FUN!!! We found the activities were very nice but sometimes not enough time to take everything in. They have more than one pool and hardly ever crowded. We plan on being back in 2008!!
Horrible Experience

Our card was charged 3 days before we showed up and we were told it wouldn?t be charged until we arrived. The first day the donuts had hair on them and the second day the milk and bowls had hair on them (we were told ?it wasn?t there earlier, it?s probably a guest?s hair?). As if that wasn?t enough, the mattress had horrible stains on it (we stayed in the Royal Chambers). I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here. This hotel is just plain nasty!
I paid how much for this?!

That might be the worst hotel value I have ever gotten for my money. It was too small for two queen beds, forcing the table and two chairs to be placed to the side of the entertainment center. That made it impossible to see the tiny tv that was in the room(I've paid the same or less and had a 42" plasma). Not to mention the weak spot in the floor right there, so every time you walked past, the huge entertainment center rattled. How about the bathroom, which is so small I was almost forced to step into the tub to close the door while I was in there.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathrrom could be a little larger but didn't plan on spending a lot of time there anyway. When the TV didn't work they had someone up to replace it in less than 5 minutes. The continental breakfast with entertainment each morning was fantastic. All in all a great experience. We were a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but were pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
